Music:

I love music and I try to fit as much of it in my life as I can. On the computer, it's mostly strange eclectic orchestrations, but alone its mostly bluesy or folky rocky guitar stuff.

My friends and I have a little band, with a growing pile of fun and strange songs and recordings which might become something someday.

About:

  • I am a 1996 model from Vancouver, Canada (where the rent has exceeded the height of the mountains, when measured in canadian dollars and metres)
  • I am interested in things (but unlike dr. worm i am not a real worm)
  • Favourites:
    • Ice Cream Flavour -> Currently Spumoni
    • Movie -> Airplane!
    • Writing system -> Burmese Alphabet/Script but Georgian is pretty cool and also Telugu's one
    • TV Show -> It might still be Mythbusters after all this time
    • Programming Language -> I have plenty of nerdy opinions about this but no favourite
    • Chord -> at the right moment, a minor/major7 is so pretty... but similarly with an augmented? but maybe a simple add9...
    • Chess Player -> Obviously Mikhail Tal
    • Dessert -> Cheesecake
    • Consonant -> b
    • Physics Demonstration -> rotate 2 stacked polarizers to show them blocking the light out... then add a 3rd one in the middle at 45 degrees... "that cant be how the world works" "oh but it is"
    • Tree -> Arbutus
    • Athletic Event -> Probably the marathon at the 1904 summer olympics but also Barbados vs Grenada at the 1994 Carribean Cup
    • Math Concept -> I find Cantor's diagonal argument pretty... satisfying...
    • Video Game -> Could it be Roller Coaster Tycoon 1/2... still?
    • Island -> this, which is also up there for "favourite wikipedia article"
    • State of Matter -> Liquid, supercooled ideally
    • Music Artist -> Overall, Neil Young
    • Site on the internet -> Google Maps/Similar Services
    • Flag -> Obviously the state flag of Maryland
    • Kind of aerial cable based transportation -> Mueller Double Chairlifts with the lattice towers and the cute terminals, absolute classics.
    • Instrument -> Realistically the hammond organ but technilogically c'mon mellotron is pretty badass
    • Vowel -> u (the ooo sound)
    • Plane -> boeing 747 - I know im basic. Backup answer is the A346. The antonov 225 lives on in my heart though...
    • Recent Fact I learned as of Aug 26 2022 -> Avro canada made literal flying saucers in the 1950s and nobody talks about it
    • Guitar solo -> Zeppelin's Thank You, BBC Sessions (Jimmy Page)
    • Bad Idea -> Action Park, New Jersey once built a waterslide that does a loop-de-loop. Also, all of Action Park, New Jersey
    • Punctuation -> Interrobang
